My DD has a diaper rash for which the doctor prescribed a compounded rx which he called pad ointment (zinc oxide, stoma hesive, and nystatin). The compounded product is very hard to spread. It has the consistency of a crumbly cheese and does not stick to the area very well. Has anyone had experience with this product? Just wondering if it was made correctly. The pharmacist did say it was very thick, but I was expecting something like Burt's Bees diaper cream, not bleu cheese.
Re: Diaper rash ointment - pad ointment
that's what I think too. I would take it back to the pharmacy
