I would say I had a little bit but over time it pretty much went away. I delivered at 36w0d after bedrest for about 14 weeks. My DH jokes it is the the universe's way of making up for the trauma of IF and the troubled pregnancy.
After 20 months TTC with PCOS, we were blessed with twins!
They arrived at 36 weeks after PTL and bedrest for 14 weeks.
I wouldn't neccessarily say I lucked out on avoiding the twin skin because my twins were born at 28 weeks. I would have gladly taken on some twin skin and stretch marks if they could have been born full term
With the exception of a little rounder belly which will probably go away with time and exercise, my figure looks about the same as it did before babies.
My normal weight pre-babies was 100 lbs. I carried triplets to 35 weeks, 6 days. There was no way I was walking away without a whole bunch of stretched out skin. I don't even have a belly button anymore.
Yeah, if the reason is delivering early, "lucked out" is definitely not the right choice of words! Sorry; should have phrased that differently. I was thinking of Gumi who, if I remember right, carried her twins pretty far but chalks up her lack of twin skin and stretch marks to genetics.
I don't have any visible twin skin yet. I carried 9.5lb of baby and delivered at 34w5d. But I'm not sure when twin skin usually shows up? Is it obvious from right away or does it take time to "set in"? I only delivered a little over 2 weeks ago!
I should also add that I am very tall (5'10) so I have lots of torso length to fit the babies

I'm trying to remember; I remember taking a pic on my due date (15 days postpartum) and I still looked 5 months pregnant. I think the twin skin showed up more as my internal organs went back to their normal size/position. Though if you really don't have any at all yet and you have a long torso, you might be OK!
I have "twin skin" from my single first pregnancy. I am very petite and delivered an 8 lb baby at 41w4d.
I will seriously need a tummy tuck!
Mom to 2 beautiful girls, 3 yrs and 22 months old. My 2nd was born at 32 weeks due to Rhogam failure/severe complications from Rh disease and is our miracle. She has bilateral auditory neuropathy and a cochlear implant, activated 4/5/2012 at 19 months.
I guess my twin skin is mild to moderate. It (and all of my stretch marks) are all from my singleton PG, though, when I gained 27 pounds. With my twins and 50 or so lbs, it didn't get any worse.
I will say mine is mild. I do still have about 10-15 lbs left to lose, and Im betting my belly looks worse after I lose weight! Funny how that works! I only carried my boys to 34 weeks though (measuring 44 at delivery).
Spontaneous Di/Di twin boys born at 34 weeks on 02/21/2011
I have it MUCH worse the thinner I am. Its on the bad end of the spectrum, but I also have diastasis. I'm currently in physical therapy for all my post partum issues. Mainly working on strengthening my core and pelvic floor.
I delivered at 33w4d measuring more than full term with a 5.6 pound baby and a 4.13 pound baby - so needless to say even though they were early they were the same weights as most 36ish weekers. With that said I have ZERO twin skin and no stretch marks at all. I know its all luck thats for sure but I also used a lot of coco butter....not sure if that helped at all or not but it doesn't hurt haha.

My girls are almost five months and I am pretty much back to nornal, no twin skin. I actually gained much more weight with my singelton pregnancy, about 45 pounds an it took 8 momths for it to come off. With the girls I only gained 35 pounds, they were 10.5 pounds and I had them at 35 weeks. I don't have stretch marks from both times I was pregnant either but I agree with whoever said it is genetics.
I just delivered on Monday 11-28, so I can't say if I will have it. As of right now I don't but give it time. I gained 35lbs and had my babies at 34w 5d.
I delivered 11.5 pounds of baby at 36.5 weeks and had gained 34 pounds. I still have a bit of a belly left. At 2 weeks PP, I had lost 26 pounds. I don't know how much I have lost by now (almost 5 weeks PP) but my belly is definitely still a little round. My skin has a weird texture but I guess I have to wait until I lose all the weight to find out how bad the twin skin is. I did avoid stretch marks though!

I didn't vote in the clicky poll because my twins aren't here yet. But I had zero stretch marks from carrying my DS to full term, he was 7 lbs 6 oz. I was very active during my pg, so that's what I attributed it to. I am short (5'4" with a short torso) and have stretch marks on my hips, butt and other areas from puberty, so def genetically prone, but he didn't give me any!
Now, I already have stretch marks with the twins. I noticed them around 28-29 weeks or so. This is probably because I am bigger now than I ever was with my DS. I am pretty much all baby. But I don't think I am going to escape the twin skin! I was hopeful, but the outlook doesn't look good. Oh well.
Re: Very important clicky poll
As for me, I would say I have moderate twin skin. And it definitely gets more wrinkly as I lose more weight and my stomach gets tighter.
My boys were delivered at 37w6d.

I always had a belly roll at the bottom, but now it's sort of saggy and a little wrinkled. Definitely a bit of flap over the csection scar.
ETA: I had the boys at almost 37 weeks and they were a combined weight of 15 1/2 lbs.
