breastfeeding AND on meds?

I enjoy EBF (though she also gets a bottle at times).  Does anyone take meds AND breastfeed. I go to the dr. next Wed and will discuss it with him but I don't want to give up BFing if possible but don't want to do any harm to my baby either due to the meds.  Please share.  BTW my LO is 12 weeks old. Thanks for sharing!

    I breastfeed and I just started taking Zoloft this week. My doctor told me that studies have shown very little of it gets into the breastmilk.

    I am on both Zoloft and Wellbutrin and am still EBFing.

    I'm also on Zoloft and still BF. I specifically told my doctor I wouldn't take meds unless it was safe because I wasn't going to stop BF.

    I EBF and my doctor refused to prescribe me anything unless I quit BF.  I didn't want to quit, so I am trying to deal without meds as I only have mild PPD/PPA...was having a few good weeks but today has been horrible...I'm really hoping tomorrow is better and today is just a blip.  Best of Luck!
