I work as a teller at a Credit Union, and people look like they're going to fall over when I say that I have two months left to go. I have never posted a belly pic on here before, so I shall do that so you can tell me....am I really that big? I've been feeling pretty average....

Trust me. You aren't big. I got told today I am "carrying wide" in a way that made me wanna disappear. Bottom line is....people don't think about our feelings, especially if they have never been prego or have never been made to feel that way themselves....

Oh, I'm not offended by any means.  I got a really big belly last time when I was pregnant with my daughter, but I'm getting SO many comments that it's starting to make me wonder...do that many people carry quite small?  Or am I carrying a giant mutant baby? Lol.  Like I said, i feel like I look fairly average...maybe slightly bigger only because I'm so tall that everything on my looks bigger, hee hee

I have been told continuously that I am small.  I am 37 weeks (essentially), and I am smaller than you.  I can tell you, sometimes it annoys me to hear the other side of things too.

Im on my phone and don't know how to PIP but I look exactly the same as you. I get comments daily that range from "you're so tiny!" to "wow you must be due any day". So I agree with the previous poster who says people are dumb. I think a lot of 37+ week ladies spend less time out and about so maybe that's why the average person doesn't know what a pregnant woman looks like in their last month?

I had a co-worker (whom I have to mention is gay and male so he will never ever go through any of this) look me up and down slowly and ask, "So... are you having like... one baby... or four?" I responded, "I'm having one you unbelievable douche bag." He looked completely shocked and looked to our fellow co-workers for support, who all just gave him this wow-you're-on-your-own-there-buddy look.

Moral is: people can be unbelievable douche bags. Just remember, it's an impressive thing we're doing and it's hard! And (god forbid) there will be days where we can't make it look as easy and cute as society thinks it is. On those days remember there are other mothers out there that know how you feel.

You look beautiful, so don't worry! I am 35 weeks and at my last Dr.'s appt some man actually made a comment saying I was so big I looked like I was going to deliver here in the elevator. He was so worried he got off on the wrong floor just to get out of the elevator! Being all hormonal and preganant I just closed the door and let him wait for the next one, but don't worry people are just trying to be friendly and talk about it, but they just come up with wierd things to say!

That's funny.  You don't look much bigger than me at 30 weeks and everyone keeps going on about how small I am.

I don't think people know what they're talking about.
