Anyone have textured walls in your house?

Our house has textured walls... not sure what it is really, it's almost like a plaster or something? Not sure, but anyways while I like the looks a lot, it makes it SO crappy b/c you can't use the wall stickers OR the command strips. Or has anyone found a way to use the Command strips? Thanks, would help so much with decorating Christmas!

That's weird, we have textured walls (kind of a speckled, looks like paint splatter bumps) and command strips and wall decals stick fine. Are your walls glazed? PP is right, it may be the paint.

Crazy part is, I haven't tried to put anything on them, but figured you needed a solid flat surface to get the things to stick... what a moron. Off to try it now. )

Depending on how "heavy" your texture is some decals may NOT work based off of my experience, but alot will. If you check Etsy, some sellers will say whether or not their decals will work. Command hooks should work fine regardless of the texture level. HTH. I had to research this myself when we bought our home.
