I see my OB in 2 hours. However, my LO hasn't moved at all this morning. I've had a single cup of coffee and have laid on my side. He was lethargic yesterday but still hit the fetal kick numbers relatively quick {within the first halfhour}. However - he's seemed to REALLY slow down. DH and LO often play hide-and-poke right before bed...and we couldn't get LO to wake up. I thought he was just being defiant. Now I'm worried sick.
...I'm going to call, I think. I don't know what to do...but I will call my OB. *sigh* I'm scared to death right now. He's never been this....quiet.

I called. They told me to drink a Mountain Dew....sweet and sugary and see them at noon. They said they'd call if I needed to come in earlier, if not she said I'd be in and seen immediately when we got there. Here's to hoping LO's okay and just being ornery. I'm half way through the Mt. Dew and he hasn't even shifted yet. *sigh*
Inhale. Exhale. ...Repeat. Everything will be okay. My stress will not help him any. Inhale. Exhale. ...Repeat. *Sigh*
Like the PP said, drink ice cold water. That is the only thing my little guy will wake up for.
GL and keep us posted.
We just got home from our appointment and L&D. Here's the scoop on our little bundle of trouble...
We went in early for a NST to check heart rate and movements...his heart rate wasn't "reactive" enough - so they sent us to L&D to watch him further on the NST. We got to L&D, hooked up....and lo-and-behold...he did what they wanted. The nurse got a kick out of it. The OB came down to check on him and shook her head saying "he's just going to make us work for it".
He's fine...and as ornery as ever.
In other news...my Modified Bed Rest was lifted!!! I may now walk in the evenings and go Christmas shopping...YAY!
I am soo glad everything turned out ok! This stuff is so stressful! Hooray for no more bedrest!
Get ready! It sounds like your LO is full of personality already! Lol
Yes he does! He's got a very....strong?....personality.
We went in for an U/S last week to verify his growth and she pushed on his head. He slowly turned his head toward the wand, opened his eyes, pulled up a fist next to his head...and *POW!*
It was priceless. We now have an u/s picture of him preparing to beat up the wand. However, we now know he is ornery and going to be a handful!
