Brianna has been completely dry overnight for at least a month now, we are still using pull-ups just in case but I hate to buy another bag when we keep tossing them dry. She just seems young to expect to be dry overnight, even though she is dry. I don't want to cause her stress by putting her in undies overnight. Am I just over thinking it? She has a gallon size bladder, when she pees, she pees, and pees, and pees. I think her bladder extends into her leg or something, I just don't know how she does it.
Re: When to stop using pull-ups overnight?
Oh, does she get stressed with undies? DD loves the undies, and will only wear diaper now if we agree to put butt cream on. I would just say to her tomorrow morning "B, you are dry again, good job! You can wear undies at night if you want." And then tomorrow night when you are getting her ready for bed, let her lead the way. Ask her if she wants to put undies or a diaper/pullup on for bedtime.
haha, JNK....That girl is funny!
TPB....I would ask her what she wants. R has only been wearing undies for about a month but he refuses to wear a pull up at nap now, this started this week. He always wakes dry from nap so I am fine with that. If he does have a nap time accident I will keep letting him wear the undies, no big deal.
He has only had 1 dry night so far so he still wears a dipe at night (until I run out), we will move on to pull ups at night soon as I have them and he doesn't wear them any other time. I do have an extra waterproof pad under his sheet were he sleeps, and a whole mattress pad under that. I figure it will be easier to just pull off the sheet and pad, not the sheet and the whole fitted pad thing.
R loves loves loves his undies, I have let him lead this whole potty learning adventure. NO stress on either of us!
