Telling Work?

in New Jersey Babies

Anyone have any suggestions/strategies for letting work know you're pregnant?  I work for a pretty family-friendly company, but no one in my unit has kids.

How long is OK to wait to tell?  I'd like to put it off for as long as possible, but I also want to be professional about it.

    Most people usually wait until after the first trimester.  Congrats!

    I waited until I was three month pregnant.  I just setup a 1 - 1 meeting with my boss and told her...she was really excited.  I was so relived at her response :) good luck!

    I told my boss around 15 weeks.  I wanted to tell some of my friends from work and didn't want word to get around to my boss before i had the chance to tell him.  I was of course nervous, but he was very excited for mh and i.

    I also waited until after first tri and set up a one on one with my direct supervisor.
