Clomid & EWCM

Hi Ladies,I'm currently on Clomid and from what I've read it souds like Clomid usually makes EWCM non-exsistent but I'm experiencing a lot more than usual. My CBEFM also had a "high" reading this a.m. (CD 8). I was just curious what everyone else has or has had on Clomid. Did you "O" sooner than usual and did you have EWCM?? Thanks!

i am by no means an expert on clomid (i've done two medicated cycles and actually, my doctor isn't very detailed on how clomid really works), and i'm sure the other ladies can really help.  but... on those two clomid cycles i noticed a large amount of EWCM, but only once, whereas I hadn't really noticed it before.  both times i had gotten negative opks around the time of the EWCM.  i called my doctor and she said you can't really pay attention to your cervical mucus when you are on clomid.

i am interested in hearing what the other ladies say... i don't really know much about this stuff.

I am currently on CD28 of my first medicated cycle with Clomid.  Like PP, I noticed significant EWCM on day 23 or 24 or so for two days.  I googled a bit, and from what I can tell, Clomid makes it so that there is little to no correspondence between your O-ing and your cervical mucus.  It dries "things" up and disrupts the natural cycle.  So, on Clomid, EWCM is not necessarily a sign of O-ing.

I figured that while on Clomid the EWCM and Oing don't have any correlation. I'm just having much more than I anticipated. My monitor had the high reading so maybe I'll "O" sooner. Idk? My Doctor didn't go into much detail.

I had no EWCM on clomid and I o'd about the same time as usual the first month.

The second month I started getting tons of EWCM late in my cycle after I thought I had already o'd.  Turns out this was because I had a huge cyst that was producing a lot of estrogen.

I am on round 4 with Clomid and I tend to 'O' about the same time as on non-medicated cycles (day 14-16).  I did notice recently that I have random CM that doesn't match where I am in my cycle.  I have been keeping pre-seed close just in case.  I also noticed that the longer I have been on Clomid, the worse my CM gets, it was a little sparse this month.

It's my first clomid cycle, but I've noticed an increase in CM in general. My O date was at it's normal time, but I definitely had EWCM (I never did in the 7 previous cycles.)
