Had a growth scan yesterday and LO is measuring about a week ahead, and estimated at nearly 7 lbs right now. Dr has said all along she would likely be upwards of 9lbs, look like we are on track. All still well for us both and my vbac is still the primary option. Waiting on GBS swab results, and detailed scan review, but initial idications were all normal!!
No dialation, just barely starting to efface, and dr got to feel my questionalble contractions and confirmed they are real, but still very mild and irregular, still warming up
This is all new territory for me, by this time with #1 I was on bedrest, having NST's everyother day and had an induction date set due to low fluids and placenta aging prematurely. Never got to "just wait it out"!
Dr said stay home unti contx are regularly 5 minutes and I really just cant stand the pain, that will be my best chance to avoid a c-section! I am so glad she is on board and not rushing me Santa baby just to avoid the holidays!
Looks like we are still on track big girl and all!!

My blog
This.
And FWIW DD measured "ahead' my entire pregnancy and was estimated to be 9-10lbs. She was 7lbs 14ox. This baby is measuring a week ahead and I pretty much just laugh each time I am told this.

Thanks for the support!
I am excited and terrified all at once.
#1 was also on the larger side (8.4 @ 37 weeks), so I wouldn't be surprised id LO is big..but again thankfully my dr is on board and has onlt mentioned c/s if there are signs of distress (like #1)..the only thing she ruled out early on was induction, just becuase of my first experience and she feels that vbacs really just need to happen like any regular labor, and really let me body be ready.
I am so happy, i have read so much where dr's start out supportive then find a million reasons why not. Mine said..she'll likely be larger, how do you feel about that? I said I wanted to do the safest thing for us both. she said..you will likely go very close to term and may be at the hospital for xmas..I said OK. She informs but doesnt' suggest changing the "plan"
