Girl: Eva, Sophia, and Olivia. Both Eva and Sophia are family names.
We don't have middle names yet and will not be sharing with anyone IRL. The rule was that the names had to be easily pronounced in Russian so that the grandparents wouldn't butcher them!

Boy: We're leaning towards Nikolai as a first name, but also considering Isaac and still looking around. Haven't decided on a middle name.
Girl: We're talking...so far the hubby LOVES Eleanor. I'm OK with it. We also like Annika (is it bad I liked this one more when I remembered the Star Trek reference?) and Katerina, and possibly Eliana. Middle name will likely be Susanne or Susanna, depending on which goes better with the the first name we pick. My mom's name is Sue and his mom's name is Mary Anne, so we'd like to honor them both.
I do love me some names, so this discussion will continue until the baby is here!
I love the name Isaac . (See Siggy... that's my Isaac)
I think Eleanor is very common due to the nickname Ellie or Ella. Love Eliana. Isaac goes to daycare with an Eliana and she's gorgeous and adorable.
Girl: Aria (R-E-Ah) or Lilah (Lie-La)
Boy: Undecided. Nothing is as good as Isaac to me. We both like Micah, but I'm not sold on it.
We also like Elena for a girl and Micah for a boy. We'll just have to see what baby looks like before we decide. We are not telling anyone our names before the baby is born and names...too many opinions (like my mom who thinks she is a baby naming genius. Her number one pick for me this pregnancy was Paisley. Uhm. NO!)
We really wanted common Biblical names that wouldn't be found over and over in our community but could be found on key-chains etc. I have loved Elizabeth for a really long time, due to Elizabeth Bennett, I want to call her Eliza for short but already tend toward Lizzy. James is my dad's mn, if this kid is a boy then he will be the only boy for many generations on my mom's side and quite a shock, may as well name him after his grandpa.
Not sure yet - DH doesn't want to talk about names until we know what we are having (a/s on 12/19). He did break down and talk about it a little last night but not too much. Oh, well. Top choices right now are Luke William and Nadia (not sure of a mn, right now considering Sophia, Elizabeth, Grace). I also love the names Ariana and Isabella, but neither of them work for a mn with Nadia with our last name (initial problems).

None of our names have any familial significance; just names we like. We also didn't want to deal with the drama of "why did you name the baby after them and not..." We have first and second choices for both sex.
Boy-
1st choice: Milo Sebastian
2nd choice: Oliver Nathaniel
Girl-
1st choice: Aurelia Jane
2nd choice: Lydia Rose
I AM SO JEALOUS OF YOU RIGHT NOW!!
I want the name Milo if ours is a boy and H really liked it at first too, then I told him the meaning and we both feel in Love with the name.
Well after telling people about the name all he kept hearing was that sounds like a dogs name. blah blah blah blah... And now he absolutely hates the name bc he does'nt want his son to have a "dogs" name. UGH!!! Yea we will not be sharing names any more with anyone! Until baby is here!
Haha! That's why we're not telling family or friends. I think the dog connection with the name Milo wouldn't have happened if they hadn't started playing that Milo's Kitchen dog food commercial all the time.
That Freaking commercial is what totally killed it for my H!!!!!!!!!
