Hi Guys - I lurk over here because I appreciate that things are talked about besides morning sickness and what can and can't be eaten....

My name is Meagan people from the bump call me Shaq (mrSHAQue).  I am 24, DH is 29 - our first baby, Maddox, is due March 1.  I am a supervisor for the Geek Squad and mh works for Best Buy as well.  Anyway, hope you don't mind me posting here more often.

Now, what I really would like is an awesome crock pot recipe - anybody have something fairly simple but delicious?

I used to post on TTGP.  Honestly, since getting pregnant I haven't been posting a lot because I just haven't really clicked that much with my bmb and obviously - I don't' really belong on TTGP anymore.  Soooo, I just do a lot of lurking and not much posting! Thanks for the link, I'll check it out!

I think it was JJC who suggested it once, BBQ chicken.

Throw several chicken breasts into the crock pot and dump BBQ sauce all over it.  Cook on high for 4-5 hours and then shread the chicken breasts with a spoon.  You can serve it on buns or on rice.  I like mine in a wrap.  When I make it I and a can of drained kidney beans, just because DH and I like beans.

I don't really have a written out recipe, but I just throw some cubed beef in the crock pot with a packet of lipton beefy onion soup mix, garlic powder, and enough water to cover the meat. I can't remember exactly how long it cooks for, but it's relatively quick. (I just set it for the temp I need the meat to cook to.) It's yummy served over rice.

Both of those sound amazing!  I realized today the obscene amount of money we have been spending eating out, trying to find some new quick and easies to make at the house!  Thanks for the suggestions.

This is the only thing I ever make in my crock pot, but it is delicious.  It's also easy to make for large groups.
