Did you wear heels in High School? I never did except for special occasions like Prom. I'm surprised by how many young girls I see walking to school in heels, it just seems so wrong to me.

No. Flats (yet somewhat dressy) are more popular here.

Im with you. Only for dances. I went to catholic hs, so we had a uniform. I dont know how the younger girls do it. They wear heels like they are sneakers!

No I was an athlete so mainly in tennis shoes and game day clothes

I do remember wearing a dress shoe that had a small heel in high school and that was like once in a blue moon. Heels were for dances.

The local high school now has it in the dress code. All heels must be under 1 inch and all shoes must be closed toe.

No but grunge was big in my school so girls even wore their boots and converse to prom.

Yes but only on Fridays.  We were in baggy jeans and tshirts all week then we would dress up on Fridays.  They were the chunky style heels, though.  Nothing like I'd wear today.

Yes.  Not stilletos, but they were higher than 1".  Not everyday, but they were definitely part of my regular school clothes.

No.  I'm almost 6 feet tall, so I barely wear heels ever. 

I remember wearing Sam and Libby ballet flats with little bows on top.  In all kinds of colors.

I was in High School during the mid 80's so it's a definite yes we wore heels.
