Do you 'play' with your baby?

I sometimes push where I know DD is lying in hopes that I can get her to move.  It usually works and she shifts around.  When I'm bored I'll sometimes 'play' with her for a while.  Does anyone else do this?

    my LO is still too small for me to "know" where she is, but I do push on my tummy sometimes to see if I can get her to move! :p

    I do this alllllll the time ;) He seems to not want to move from my right side, and I'm getting sooo sore! I try poking him a bit to see if he will move but so far he only pokes back. He's pretty stubborn!

    Oh yes! Ppl tell me I am making him mean.

    LO does not think anything should touch his "home" my belly. not clothes, bed sheets, H, and especially not hands.
    So I lay things on my stomach and touch my stomach just to see him push them off. He pretty much don't kick anymore. Just pushes, pokes, and rolls.

    I think it's cute and at least he know I care enough to poke him.

    Have you tried the flash light trick?! Get a flash light put it on your belly and move the light around. The baby will usually follow it, trying to "grab" at the light.

    I have tried but my baby is stubborn. Maybe he has enough room in there that it doesn't bother him yet. Hopefully eventually I will get a poke back.

    Yes!  I love doing that.  MH is so funny, he always yells at me to leave the baby alone.  I can't wait until I'm a little further along with this one and can poke the baby to get him/her to move so my older kids can feel it.  they can't wait to feel the baby move!

    Yup, so does DH, he has actually poked so hard a couple of times that I have gotten little fingertip sized bruises!!
