The last few days I have not been pumping just having my LO suck directly from the breast. Today when I went to pump my left breast nothing came out. I left the pump on there for quite a while and still nothing came out. When my LO sucks on it seems like he is getting something. My Left breast has always produced more so it was suprising that nothing was coming out today. Is it possible for one breast to dry up but not the other?Im sorry if this seems stupid Im a first time mom and I have no clue haha.

    I don't know if its possible for one breast to dry up without the other, but its quite possible that your LO is able to get milk even if the pump can't.

    You should also consider when you did the pumping. Was it too soon after a feeding? What time of day was it? I know my supply varies a lot throughout the course of a day. I can pump almost 6oz in the morning but rarely get more than 3oz in the evening.
