Any Moms or Moms-to-be here from Victoria? Found out Yesterday that I am expecting...and I am FREAKING OUT! Tips? I'm horribly sick, not sure who to pick for an OB/GYN and I won't have a job if I stay this sick! HELP!

Im not in Vic, but my parents live there, I was there for 2 months and got out as fast as I could. That place sucks when you don't know anyone!!

My parents live near Victoria, but I don't have a recommendation. I will tell you that Dramamine was on my list of medicines that is okay to take when PG. It will make you sleepy, but at least you won't be so nauseous! Congrats and hope you feel better soon!

Thanks. I haven't tried Dramamine yet. Whats worse is The doc can't get me in until Dec 20th for my 1st appt. And the Phenergan my other doc gave me isn't helping at all.

I don't know how far along you are, but mine wouldn't see me before I was 7 weeks. It will go by quickly! Keeping some crackers and Sierra Mist by my bed helped me in the mornings a lot. I could get a quick drink and slowly munch some crackers before starting my day. Also, just eat whatever you can. I think all I ate were soup and carbs while I had morning sickness. It does get better!

LOL to begin with I though I had the flu so ALL I ate was Soups and some powerade, water, and ginger ale. After I found out I was WAY off on my diagnosis...I tried to eat other things but my stomach was in knots for another week afer that. My other doc prescribed me phenergan for the nausea. I take one in the morning with a dry waffle or a light sandwhich. It takes enough of the edge off to get me thru my day. I'm almost 9 weeks now. My OB won't see me until Dec. 20th So the announcement will be a christmas present for our families.
