NST/Bed Rest Questions

Hi Ladies! I've been lurking for a while, but now that I'm off work (32 weeks today with twin girls!), I have a lot more time on my hands to post.

I know contractions are more common with moms with multiple babies, so my doctor is having me monitored twice a week now. Out of three times so far, I've been sent to L&D twice for additional monitoring. It's SO hard to be at the hospital and not be allowed to eat for so many hours.  It feels hard to really rest in the hospital, and this week at home so far, rest has seemed to be working. Did anyone have to go through this fairly often at the end of your pregnancy?

Also, while on bed rest at home, what kinds of things did you do to pass time? I've been reading and online shopping, the latter of which I really need to stop! My husband has been taking over all the chores already, but it's so difficult for me to not go into the kitchen to wash a dish during the day. Any ideas???
