One (tiiiiiny) step closer

We finally know why we don't have our last background check back. I am relieved to finally have some word, and irritated that it took a month of waiting and then a month of us bugging them before they told us such a simple thing. We sent in the paperwork and waited for a month. Then DH started calling -- at first weekly, eventually daily -- to ask why in the world it hadn't gone through. Well, a couple of days ago we found out: Our agency has to send in the paperwork, not us. It was faxed from the wrong number. Really, if they're that picky, couldn't they have told us weeks ago? Or better yet, called or e-mailed when they got the paperwork, rather than throwing it to the side and ignoring it? Anyway, our SW is sending in the request so hopefully this time they'll do it!!!
