To me, this is a last name, so I'm not really a fan. And even though it is apparently a Germanic name, it just sounds like it is trying to be a more unique form of Caden/Kaden/Kadyn, etc.
Agree with PP about looking like a (bad) variation of Caden.
Also, with the g it sounds like it should either be a noun (let's hang some kaeding in the backyard) or a verb (the boys were kaeding down the street.)
Sorry for the harsh response, I tend to like the unique names but I just can't get behind this one.
When I say it out loud it sounds like (Kat-ing) Have you considered using Kade? My friend actually named her son Kincade and they call him Cade for short. I think it is different than the very popular Caden or Kaden. Just a thought.
PP said this was the name of a football player, if your last name is Bradshaw, as your sn suggests, he would have the name of two football players.
Nate Kaeding and Terry Bradshaw, (former football player, now announcer).
He will probably be subjected to football references until both of them fade into obscurity...
but if you're ok with this, I still wouldn't do it because I really don't like the sound of Kaeding by itself, and not a fan of the fn, ln combo in general.

I prefer Keaton. Might be too matchy with Holdyn though.

Totally sounds made up - or like you misspelled something

Good lord no. This looks like the worst variant of Caden I've ever seen.
I much prefer the pp's suggestion of Kade/Cade.
It's the last name of an NFL player... Nate Kaeding.
I've been looking at DH's fantasy football stuff too much.
Trendy letter, K and looks made up to me (my knee-jerk reaction). Someone mentioned German - I'm not finding this...help?
Oh, and I first misread it as 'kneading'

It wouldn't be the first time I've seen a guy try to use a sports surname on this board. I hope that's not the case.

Absolutely awful.
