DS loves to color and I think he would love an easel BUT I am scared to get one. As is we have to hind the washable crayons after a carpet coloring incident that remains to haunt us even after a professional cleaning. So for those of you who have one is your child constantly supervised when they are using it or do they just remember to stay on the paper only. Do you remove the crayons when not in use. I'm thinking even chalk can get messy too. Am I making a big deal over nothing or is my kid just a pain in the ass.
Re: Art Easel Question
Ours is a when supervised only toy. When we're using it I throw down a splat mat and let them go nuts. But I put up the chalk/markers/paint as soon as we're done.
So it doesn't see as much use as some toys, but the girls both love it when I let them at it!
