To copy the post below. This morning I weighed less than I did while I was running regularly back in 2007-08. I guess if breastfeeding burns 3500 calories a week, and you'd have to run 35 miles to do that...it makes sense!
Awesome! Breast feeding also seems to agree with me, I just keep loosing weight even though I'm not dieting!
that's great! I also don't diet - although I also rarely eat out or eat much processed food and I get a lot of exercise in my daily life...so I'm sure that my regular lifestyle doesn't hurt!
Yay!! I am down to my pre-pregnancy weight too (with no dieting, no exercise), but I'd still like to lose 15 lbs to get back to my sexy weight.
I really want to start exercising again (I have a great Elliptical at home), but I just cannot figure out when I am going to squeeze it in. I work full-time, and I like to spend every second at home with LO, because I miss him so much. Waking up earlier is not really an option (already getting up at 5:30). I guess I could do it after LO goes to bed, but I think it might keep me up later, which is no good. Hopefully LO will like his Jumperoo we are getting him, and we can "workout" together

I also don't want to leave LO to exercise - and I don't. This is how I stay in shape now - while he's napping or even playing on the floor I can do light weight lifting and still be right next to him and talk to him. I can do squats/lunges while he's napping or while I'm holding him even. I haven't gotten back into running - instead we do walks as a family (I can bundle him up in the stroller when the temp is at least 40 degrees and he is fine), or on weekends we go hiking with the ergo (I live in CO, so easier here than other places!). Exercise is a family thing, so I don't have to miss him while I do it :-)
