I'm soo ready for this year to be over! Actually the last 2 years have been more bad than good. But 2011 is getting ridiculous 
Two years ago this month my uncle died unexpectedly. And so far this year - my cousin was murdered in February ( case is still open with no suspects), my daughter was still born in June, my older brother lost his job last month due to down sizing and I just found out my Grandfather passed this morning
Looks like I need to start looking for flights to Chicago.
I sure hope next year is better

First, I would like to say I am so very sorry for all of your losses this year and everything else that has gone wrong. I am so happy to see you over here though and I hope it's for the long haul and that in 8 months you can post pictures of your beautiful baby and tell us how healthy he/she is and how awesome you are doing.
But I must also say, this is exactly how I feel! This year has SUCKED. Worst year of my life, hands down. First, we got hit with a $10K tax bill this year because MH's employer screwed up his withholdings, so we had to basically empty out our savings account when we were saving for a house for next year. Then both of our dogs got very sick and we had over $1K in vet bills in the month of May alone. Then MH got appendicitis and had an emergency appendectomy. Then we get pregnant and at a little over 6 weeks, lose the baby. Then our car gets broken into in our own garage, windows smashed, GPS stolen, everything. Then things are starting to look up because we get pregnant again, and then we learn yesterday that the baby has a 1 in 113 risk of having Down Syndrome and that we need to decide whether to proceed with an amnio and then possibly decide whether or not we are going to go forward with the pregnancy. I literally feel like everything I touch breaks.

Oh my goodness...I am so sorry to hear about your Grandpa, as well as everything you have been through this past couple years. You have had more than your share of sadness.
I hope that 2012 brings you and your DH much luck, love and happiness as well as your take home baby, you deserve nothing less. ((((Hugs))))

I totally agree with pp's statement. That is too much loss for one family to bear. Next year HAS to be better!
