MH and I are trying to conceive #2 right now and have spent the evening discussing names. Using names from the family or derived from family is pretty important to us..
We came up with Ian Edward (Ian is the Scottish form of John, MH's FN and Edward is his deceased Grandpa's middle name) for a boy.
For a girl we came up with Georgina Loryn (MH's dad is George, my mom is Lora and his mom's MN is Lyn which is why we have made "Lauren" into a you-neek spelling).
Thoughts?
Re: wdyt?
Ian Edward is lovely.
I'm not liking Georgina Loryn together. I like the significance of how you spelled Loryn though.
What about Georgia Loryn?
I'm really not feeling the "gina" part, I feel like kids will have a field day with that.
p.s. your lil' pumpkin is sooo cute!
My furchildren, Dorothy and Johnny
Thanks!
We thought about Georgia, but we also liked that there would be an easy, built in NN for Georgina, whereas we couldn't think of a NN for Georgia.
You could use Gia. I like Gia much more than Gina. I keep seeing flashes of 40 Year Old Virgin in my head when I think Gina.
I also really like Ian Edward and prefer Georgia Loryn. The little girl I know named Georgia is called Gigi for short.
Love Ian Edward
Love georgina
not liking the made up name at all
Ian Edward is really good
I really don't like your girl name, sorry
