You'd think I'd be more confident since this is my 2nd LO, but I still feel the need to compare/comiserate!

How often is your LO nursing?  For how long?  How much does he/she sleep at night?

DS2 generally nurses every 90 minutes or so, or upwards of 11 times a day!  It seems like a lot, even though I know it's okay since he's gaining weight.  He's giving us a longer stretch at the beginning of the night (8ish till 2ish).  He's generally latched on for 20-40 minutes.

I feel like my boobs are always out.  Certainly I'm not the only one!

My guy is a little older - he'll be 2 months on Friday.  But typically he nurses every 2-3 hours during the day (today for instance he nursed at 6:30, 9:30, 12, 1:30 and 4:30.) At night he goes for 4-5 hour stretches.  (DH feeds him around 6:30 pm, I feed him around 9:30 and 2:30)

He usually eats for between 15 and 20 minutes.

Nope, you're not. It's like I'm a walking Hustler page. Things have calmed a bit since she's gotten older but I still nurse on demand and for comfort. She is spacing out her feedings to about 2 hours and a bit but sometimes she just wants the comfort of the boob.  I nurse to sleep as well and it seems she's feeding for a few minutes and then falls asleep. Because of the holiday, she was a bit off in her sleeping but she sleeps about 3 hours, eats and sleeps again another 3 hours. One night she slept 5 hours and last night she did it...she slept 9 hours straight. I think it was the sleep sack that helped.

DS usually eats every 3 - 3.5 hours, at night he goes 4 - 6 hours and he is usually latched for 20-40 minutes. Somedays when he is fussy it can take DS 1-1.5 hours to finish, those days I feel all I do is breastfeed!

It's the same way over here. I was discreet in the beginning but I'm BFing so often that I just don't care anymore.

 Modesty flew out the window for me too. C likes to eat every 2-3 hours starting in the early hours of the morning til about 9 when she goes down for a 4-5 hour stretch.

We are down to 9-10 times in a 24 hour period. He only eats one side at a time so I feel like I always have a boob out. He gives us a 6-7 hour stretch at night and then a 3-4 hour stretch and then it is every 2 hours all day until 4pm--then it is every hour until he goes to bed. The boy likes to eat--this is much more often than I was with DD. but he is gaining and happy so it is working!

LO has just started going longer stretches between feedings, about two hours on average, and her feeding time has also gone down to 10-20 minutes.  This worries me a bit but I'm going to wait a week and check her weight gain.  It could be because my flow has been extra strong lately.  When I get out of the shower I have to put my bra on right away because milk starts shooting across the room! 

As for sleep, her nightly habits are pretty consistent -- she goes to sleep after the midnight feeding (DH's job -- I can never get her to sleep at night because she gets the "boob crazies" and starts rooting).  She wakes up once on her own, usually around 3 a.m., then sleeps till we get up at 7:00.  Then she'll nap for most of the morning and be up the rest of the day.  If I'm lucky she'll take another short nap in the early evening but it doesn't usually happen.

Hustler? More like National Geographic. DS nurses every 2-3 hours during the day, usually for about 20 minutes, just on one side. He goes down around 9pm and we get 7-8 hours. Then he nurses, and goes back down for a few more hours before he's up for the day.

ugh, that sucks. . . I hate feeling like my boobs hang out all day.

My daughter eats 6-7 times a day, every 2-4 hours during daytime and 9-10 hours at night.  She'll nurse anywhere from 6-25 minutes.

I will say that she eats much less than my son did.  He was on a similar schedule, but ate for a solid 30-45 minutes.  Obviously I enjoy feeding her much more than my son since she's so quick.

DD eats every 90mins to 3 hours during the day. At night, she eats around 10 or 11pm then sleeps until 6am or so. DD is a pretty fast eater and generally is only latched for 10-15 minutes at each feeding.
