Went better!

She took a total of 4.5 oz at her two snacks and reduced her formula intake by 5 ounces.

So I think it's going well. We'll try to stick to the 4ish ounces for the week, then bump her up to 6ish and remove 2ish more formula ounces. I think I'll take those all away from her mid-morning bottle as that's the next one I want to cut out entirely and it's down to 5 ounces with the current regimen. I already cut her first bottle of the day and swapped it with breakfast as soon as she gets up, then a snack 2 hours later. 

This whole food/milk thing has been so confusing and stressful to me since day one.

Sounds like she's doing great!  I agree that the transition to food/milk seems/seemed confusing and stressful, but it's really not so bad once you get into it.

Luckily at that point Ian was a human disposal, so the transition wasn't hard.
