2 Months! (and a sappy momma moment)

D is 2 months old today!  Hard to believe on the one hand, but hard to imagine its only been that long on the other (seems like he's always been a part of the family...and heaven knows the nights seem to last forever, lol).

So for the sappy moment: Was driving to the Post Office and a Christmas song came on.  I was being a dork and singing along to it and then told D that I'll have to teach him all these songs and all about Santa.  Then it hit me-I have a baby to teach all this stuff to.  All those years of wondering if it would ever happen, especially last year when the m/c was so fresh, and here he is.  Cue

Happy 2 months! I've been having all sorts of wonderfully sappy moments too & know just what you mean. It's still amazing he's here! ((happy hugs!)))

Aww you're so cute! Happy 2 months!! I've been having the same feelings, last year I was SO bitter and sad at Christmas. My EDD was in Jan so I was really missing my baby. Little did I know I'd be pregnant with this one a week after my EDD. I didn't put up any decorations last year, now I'm getting to hang a Babys First Christmas ornament, I feel so lucky.

This time last year I was really struggling.  I was about 2 weeks out from my m/c, so the hurt was still really fresh.  Last Thanksgiving was awful.  I tried to be thankful for what I did have, but what I didn't have was still very much on my mind. 

...and thank you for reminding me to get a Baby's First Christmas Ornament (and a stocking!)

Definitely feeling lucky this year as well.  There really are no words for how much it means to have the little bugger here in my arms.

That must have been so hard! My D&C was right before the Fourth of July and it was miserable, even being pregnant for it this year was hard, hopefully I'll enjoy next year's. We are all very blessed, holidays really bring that point home!
