doppler in doc office

hi girls!! 

just came back from OB!  she did the doppler....girl's heartbeat was clear as day....and took two seconds to find....boy wasn't really cooperating too much but finally we got an echo of something and she said oh there it is...i clearly have no idea what i am listening for...but on my way out i said...so there were two heartbeats right?  and she said yep!  and was happy with what she heard. 

 i believe her but i wish i heard his like her heard hers....anyone have a similar experience?   thx:)

We haven't heard their heartbeats yet -- I may ask for this at our u/s on Friday!

 

I'm so glad you're having a good experience so far.  Don't worry about the heartbeats being hard to find sometimes!!  Babies move like crazy and w two in there, it's just more noise.

 we did a CVS at 12 weeks.  so we opted to find out the sexes!

They always seemed to have a tough time getting their HBs early on. It got better when they got bigger.

My dr. would have trouble finding the heartbeat at 12 weeks she would usually use an u/s to locate the heartbeats. Now that I am at 30 weeks she can tell their position and find the heartbeat quickly. I believe after 20 weeks she could find the heartbeat easily using the doppler.
