Hi everyone,
I have been lurking for a few days now and wanted to finally introduce myself. My husband and I had our first bfp on 8/28 and mc 9/27 after seeing a strong heartbeat. I've had really long cycles (60-110 days) since going off the pill so my doctor was going to do a bunch of bloodwork after this cycle ended to test my hormones, my ovaries, and my thyroid to see what was causing the long cycles. Well, I ended up with a bfp on cd60 and here I am 13dpo and still getting positives. EDD 8/7/12
I am scared that I'm going to mc again but I'm trying not to let that ruin this pregnancy. I was so scared the first time and it really took away from me "connecting" with my pregnancy so I'm going to risk it all this time around and just be excited. If something is going to happen, it is beyond my control. And, the odds are on our side to not miscarry so I'm just going to focus on that.
Anyway, I am so happy to be here and can't wait to share this journey with everyone. Did your doctor advise you to do anything differently with the pregnancy after your miscarriage? Or if you've only had one miscarriage can you still do everything the same (workouts, etc)?
Re: Intro
Congrats and welcome! Lots of wishes for a H&H 9 months coming your way!
I've had one loss previously, and my doctors never advised me to do anything differently.
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place.
Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
Congrats and welcome!
The only thing different would be getting betas and an early u/s.
Congrats and welcome!!! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!
I've had one loss (missed m/c at 9w) and wasn't told to do anything differently this time. My doctor did bring me in for more b/w and appointments in the first trimester though.

Congrats and welcome!
My doctor put me on progesterone as a precautionary measure with this pregnancy. Other than that, she didn't have me do anything else differently. I did ask to have betas ran, which isn't standard, and got an early u/s because of my history. Like you, I got pregnant on a long cycle, so the u/s was also necessary for dating purposes (my LMP EDD was almost 3 weeks earlier than my actual GA EDD).

Congrats to you!!!
From what I understand, you can still work out if that is something your body is used to... Miscarriage before or not... But always check with a doctor.
