Peony?

I love this name but I'm not sure it would age well. Is it too cutsie for a young adult? Also pretty sure DH wouldn't like it.

    Unless your child will be a character on My Little Pony, I just don't think Peony works as a name for a person.

    The Peony is one my favorite flowers but like pp have said it doesn't seem to be wearable IRL.

    What happened with Penelope?

    Are you going for nature names now? Finley and Wren are kinda cute and even Heather, Briar, Lark, Iris, Poppy.

    This. There's a good chance I'm using Violet so I like the flower names but Peony is just a little much for me. Maybe as a middle name?

    I think it is too cutesy for an adult, and it makes me think "Pee-on-knee" as a potential nn. FWIW, I actually love the flower!

    If I had a daughter named Peony I would be afraid that I would end up calling her PeePee or Pee b/c I have a tendency to shorten names to their first syllable. LOL
