Ameda Purely Yours vs. Purely Yours Ultra

Anyone have either of these?

What's the difference - besides $90?

The reviews on both are pretty much the same, but I would assume that there's some differences. I've been looking for a comparison, but can't really find anything.

ETA: I was looking at the Ameda Purely Yours with Carry-All vs. the Ultra

It looks like the Ultra just includes different flanges and has a nicer bag. But are the flanges worth the extra money?

I believe the Ultra comes with a bag and some extra accessories.

(FYI-if you're trying to save money, and aren't concerned about accessories, the Lansinoh affinity is exactly the same pump.)

I believe it is the same pump as well....You can actually get great deals on the Ameda pumps online...I bought one one ebay for about $40, and since its a closed system they are safe for multiple users after buying the flanges/tubing.  You can even find some new pumps too.

  • Is it really? I can't find any info that the Lansinoh is FDA approved for use by more than one person. I looked and it doesn't claim to be a closed system. Possibly one reason why it is cheaper.
  • https://www.amedaonline.com/ameda-purely-yours-breast-pump-.html I bought this one without the bag and cooler bag...I have both on had and it is the same pump as the one that has the bags..... I have only used it once but worked...

I bought a used one for $75. Didn't have to replace anything but it came wit brand new valves that were unopened.  I did recently go to BRU and purchase the m/l flanges. The standard ones were rubbing my nipples raw. There should be space around the nipple when pumping, mine were touching the inside of the flange. The m/l size has helped so much and i get more when i pump, without being hurt!

According to the Baby Bargains book, this used to be true, but isn't anymore.
