AW- Rolling over!

I just wanted to take a minute to have an AW moment- my LO rolled from tummy to back for the very first time on Saturday!!! It was the funniest thing how she was squirming around and rocking on her belly during tummy time! I knew she was up to something! Next thing I knew, she was over on her back staring up at me with this hysterical look on her face as if to say, how did I get here? Mommy, what just happened? Haha! I was so proud of her! It was also the day of her baptism so I think she wanted to make it an extra special day for herself. Now if only I had grabbed the video camera in time. It was sitting right next to me on the coffee table! Thanks for letting me brag! I know some of your LOs already reached this fun milestone. Any of you still waiting? Any back to belly rollers already?

My LO rolled from tummy to back for the first time too! But on Sunday. I was so excited. She did it a few times too!. She still hasn't rolled back to tummy, but can roll back to side and if I put her on her side to tummy

My LO can roll both ways. He went belly to back at 9 weeks, 2 days and like PP it was sudden and happened randomly during tummy time.

 He went back to belly at 12 weeks, 2 days and this was less random. He'd been trying for a while, getting to his side consistently but having trouble making that final 'flop' over. When he got to his belly he promptly rolled back onto his back!

 LO is a side sleeper too.

Awww congrats! C rolled over from belly to back for the 1st time on Friday the 18th! I DID manage to catch it on video, but the microSD Card in my phone just went caput, and I hadnt yet had a chance to transfer it from my phone to my pc; so I'm afraid I may have lost that precious 1st time moment.

Isaac still hates tummy time and has only rolled over 1 more time since my initial post. Apparently, he's giggling now, too...just when I'm not around! (

Thanks girls! Yes, it did happen quite suddenly for my DD. She typically does not enjoy tummy time, but this past week, she seemed much more interested in being on her belly and was pushing up on her arms very high. Then came more rocking. Then bam- she rolled!

Yay!! Congrats DD has been rolling belly to back and now she's working on back to belly. She gets about 3/4 of the way there and then gets stuck and frustrated

Yay, congrats!!! Our DS is rolling from back to belly, but getting stuck. He isn't even close to belly to back. Bummer because he hates tummy time, so he rolls, realizes where he is, gets mad and face plants.

Haha, some of your stories are making me laugh! I think babies look so cute when they try to roll and get stuck- too adorable! Keep trying, August babies!
