A few questions about laundry..

I have about 6 weeks before baby is here and I have yet to prep any of my diapers.. Kinda starting to freak out... A few questions...

We have hard water & I asked awhile ago about that with most of my responses saying dropps were the way to go. I noticed they make dropps for baby laundry and just regular ones. Is there a certain one I need to get?

Stripping is done when the diapers start to smell? Right? How is that usually done?

For previously used prefolds, how do I prep those? Boil? How does that work?

I think I'm making this harder than it needs to be.. I know I'll get the hang of it once I do it a few times, but until then Im in freak out mode..

We have hard water and use regular, dye-free Dropps.

I've yet to strip my diapers - it's not necessary unless there's an issue. We had a stink problem (barnyard) while using RnG original version, but when we switched to Dropps it was solved.  I also always do an extra full cycle to rinse.

Used PFs just have to be washed once, they're likely "prepped" already.

i just use the scent + dye free dropps. i also haven't had stink problems since switching to them really (or not bad enough to strip) but if they get a little stinky i throw in an extra dropp and then do a couple wash cycles with hot water. GL
