(posting from my phone - sorry for the bad spacing!)
I got put on bed rest Tuesday for high blood pressure and I'm going kind of crazy! I'd love some book/blog suggestions - preferably funny ones . TIA!!
I am sorry that you are on bedrest! I don't have any funny book recommendations, but I just wanted to say that I am thinking about you. I was on bedrest with Baby C2, so I know how challenging it can be. I'll look at my Goodreads list and see if there is anything kind of light and entertaining on it!
I'm so sorry! Most people think it's a vacation, but I was on partial bedrest with DS and I know it's not.
Funny blogs I love:
amalah.com
modgblog.com
theblogess.com
I am highly entertained by books by Augusten Burroughs. His humor is dark and sometimes they're slightly horrifying, but I've also had moments of laughing so hard I had tears running down my face.
I may be late to the game on this one, but I've recently discovered www.damnyouautocorrect.com Hilarious stuff! You can spend hours on there laughing!
Also, if you haven't joined pinterest, now's the time to do so!
Good luck!
ETA: I love dooce.com and she has a book--It Sucked and Then I Cried. The Blogess also has a new book out.
Ditto august's recs (although I don't think the bloggess' book is out quite yet?). Jen lancaster's books are awesome too (bitter is the new black, such a pretty fat, etc).
