Well, that was an eventful Sunday afternoon (L&D visit)

Ugh, if I was ever wondering how I would make time go by these last few days, I really hope for boredom again!  I woke up this morning vomiting my brains out - I wasn't able to keep a thing down all day and finally called my doc at 3pm.  My doc had me go to L&D to get on an IV so that I could battle the dehydration.  I'd never had an IV before and it made me hyperventilate, so I ended up puking again.  They also took some blood and did a urine test.  Ends up that my white blood cells are slightly elevated, and that I have a low-grade UTI that I didn't even feel.  Now I'm just trying to get some fluids and food into me so that I can start my antibiotic.  

The good news:  Little Bean seems completely unaware that Mommy was suffering from anything.  His/her little heartbeat was perfect, and the nurses were highly entertained by how much s/he was bouncing off the walls.  Unfortunately, I'm still only 50% effaced, so that's no progress since Wednesday.  Oh well - at least it was a good dry run to the hospital :-)

Aw, thanks for the support ladies!  I am feeling 1000X better this morning. I have kept down everything I've eaten since last night, so now I'm just tired and need to get some more sleep.
