Pregnant after a Loss

Man I feel like sh!t (vent)

So the last few days I have just been so uncomfortable and felt like crap, not sick crap, but every part of me hurts crap. My back hurts, my lower abs hurt, I can never seem to get comfortable, I get worn out after doing anything for 5 minutes, and I get hungry all the time but also get nauseous.

I'm getting worn out to the point that I don't know how I'm going to make it through labor and delivery. Ok really this is just a pity party so I'll stop now but these next few weeks are really going to drag by.

  • You are allowed to have a pity party! Just keep in mind that it will all be worth it! Also if you have access to a swimming pool try that out. It made me feel really good last time around. HTH :)

  • I am right there with you and I am 3 weeks behind you.  I just had a conversation with my DH about picking up my dd's toys..and it ended with "you have no idea how hard it is for me to pick her toys...I feel like I have ran a marathon after 5 minutes!"

  • Totes feel you.  I've had a few melt downs over the last couple weeks.  And moments when I've had to stop myself from having a melt down only because having one would be completely inappropriate (like at work while talking to my supervisor).

  • I hope you start feeling a little bit better soon! If it's any consolation, for the past few days I haven't even been able to do much of anything besides nap during the day, so if you're like me you will be getting plenty of rest to prepare for labor and delivery. Wink

Take it easy and look towards that light at the end of the tunnel!

  • I have felt like that the last few weeks myself so I can totally relate. 3rd tri can be rough especially the closer you get to the end. Hope you feel better soon!

  • I'm so sorry you are in pain and not feeling well. You certainly have every right to vent about it. Have you ever gone to a chiropractor? I see mine regularly and it helps a ton. I hope you get some relief soon.
  • I am right there with you - I mentioned it to my doctor b/c I've been having horrible pain when I try to roll over at night, to the point where I can't move in bed w/out waking Dh up and she was like "Yeah, from here on out youre' just going to be uncomfortable" - Grrreeeeeaaatt.  I hope you get some relief, I think my recliner is my only hope at this point of getting comfortable these days.

  • I also had quite a bit of discomfort at 34-ish weeks - I don't know if it had something to do with a hormonal shift or if LO was starting to grow regularly.  But in the past week or so, I've either just gotten used to the fact that I need take it easy, or my hormones leveled out, because I've felt a lot better (with the exception of my stomach bug yesterday).  Maybe you just need to step back a little bit and rest - that seems to make all of the difference.
