I am just wondering how everyone handle having a little one running around and breastfeeding a newborn.
My first daughter will be one on December 10th and I am being induced on December 5th (due to some complications) with my second daughter. So I will have two under 1 for a few days.
Im just trying to figure out how I am going to beable to breastfeed and keep a 1 year old occupied/safe/out of trouble. My husband will have to return to work pretty quickly after our second daughter is born.
Thanks for any of the tips or thoughts ![]()
Re: Breastfeeding question
books, anything thats not a toy (spoons, empty boxes, or containers etc), elmo--dont be afraid of a little TV, snacks, a cup etc.
Mine are 18 m apart, but I bet you wont have a big issue iwth any jealousy since your LO is almost 1. They barely notice certain things.
You learn to nurse while walking, while out etc. Always contain the older while the younger is nursing if you are out. Highchairs, strollers etc.
