My Imperfect Pursuit of Gardening
Really, really beautiful name!! It's not overused, yet it's familar enough that it won't make people go, "huh??". I think it matures well too... It's lovely on an adult woman, and adorable on a little girl. I work in childcare and we have a Lydia at the moment... she's amazing. I think it's a perfect name.
I loved this name when I was younger (I got it from Winona Ryder's character in Beetlejuice). I wouldn't use it now just because it's NMS anymore, but it's still a nice name. I know an 11-year-old with this name and it totally suits her.
LOVE Lydia! It's one of my favorite girl names right now. I'm trying to get DH on board (if we have a girl). He just told me that it was growing on him.
