Hi, guys!  I don't have a baby, but I've heard these boards are more active than nestie boards.  I moved to austin just about 2 years ago, and I left all my girlfriends behind.  It's really starting to bug me.  I can only gripe about my husband to my husband and he can only answer "how do I look?" so many times.  I'm really trying to get to know people here.  It's hard because I don't go to church and I just switched to a job where I can work from home and am not required to be social with anyone.    I'd really like to get to know some women here to hang out, go to dinner, shop with, etc.  I can't make this sound un-creeper-ish.  Sorry.

Welcome!  Chime in when you can (and there are plenty of non-baby threads over here), and join the Nestie FB group.  There's usually a north/south/central happy hour going on at some point and we have book club meetings every 4-6 weeks.  Plenty of us don't read the book, so don't let that stop you from coming

Welcome! It's true, there are plenty of non-baby related (NBR) threads here, and plenty of posters who don't have kids. If I were you, I'd read the board every day, participate in the threads, get to know the personalities, and go to the book club. Lots of the women here are friends in real life. GL!
