Hi Everyone,
My husband and I live in Ada. Was wondering if there was anyone out there that has been to any doctor's here and what the hospital (valley view) is like for delivering babies. We had our first doctor's appointment last Wed. and were not too thrilled with the experience, attitude of some of the staff, etc.. We will go back one more time to see if it was just because of being the day before Thanksgiving and people were more focused on what they were doing for the weekend and getting out of the office as quickly as possible, but are not expecting much. Maybe we will be surprised. If anyone out there could share their experiences here in Ada We sure would appreciate it very much.
Re: Anybody from Ada?
Hi! I live in Ada, well I just moved to konawa this week, I go to ECU, I'm indian so I go to the womens clinic for the chickasaw even though I am ottawa. If you are indian or have proof on indian blood, I definitely recommend you fo visit. I LOVE the clinic. The four midwives are excellent and my ob gyn is amazing.
I am so sorry I didn't respond sooner. I just kind of gave up on looking for someone from this area. We actually live in Byng at the moment and are hoping to find a more comfortable home before the baby arrives. Unfortunantly I am not Indian and therefore cannot get any of those wonderful benefits. We did get to see another doctor in the womens health center that we go to. I liked him a lot better than the first one we saw. He said it was okay to make my appointments with whomever my husband and I felt more comfortable with, so that was good news.
I am looking at your ticker..it looks like you are due in June as well. We are due on the 10th, but I have a feeling it will probably arrive early. My last pregnancy was horrible and I was in bed or the hospital for most of it and of course my son was early. This pregnancy is a little better. I have had some heavy bleeding once and a trip to the ER. Now I am just tired and hurting most of the time.
Thank you so much for responding. Hope we can chat some more. What are you taking at ECU? Is this your first child?
I will look more often now that I know there is someone else in the area. Again thank you.
