This may be a really dumb question but...

Can I take a Ricola or a Halls cough drop?  I have been sick and now I feel like I am getting a cough so I was wondering if I can eat those.  There are so many restrictions on everything so I am really confused.  If I can't take those, is there anything else I can take?

Please help.  I can't stop coughing :-(

    I don't think there are restrictions on cough drops. You could also try chamomile tea with lemon and honey.

    I have a really bad cold and have been taking cough drops. My doctor said they are fine.  Feel better!

    I wasn't sure but I was eating ricola's last week for the same reason. I went with Ricola's because they are made with natural ingredients, but I'm not sure that was even nessesary.

    I was told by my MD that cough drops are ok as long as they don't have vitamin a in them.....or was it vitamin C...sorry pregnancy brain setting it.  I will have to try to find the paper where I wrote it down on.

    I was told Cough drops are ok along with robutussion and thats about it.  Sorry your feeling bad.

    I just looked on the back and did not buy the ones that said consult your Dr.  My OB also said that Robitussin DM is fine for a cough syrup and it worked wondered.  And a humidifier.  I hope it goes away quickly it is not fun!

    Cycle 12~ 50 mg Clomid=BFP 9/9/11, Beta #1=280 & Beta #2=1513, 6w3d hb=122 bpm/ 8w2d hb=186 bpm/12w2d could not hear hb had a 3rd u/s and got to see the hb. 16w2d heard the hb! 156 bpm. A/S 1/3=girl
