2 Ingredient Last Minute Thanksgiving Dessert

So I was told this recipe yesterday and couldn't believe how easy it was and now can't believe how great it tastes!

All you need is a 15oz can of pumpkin and a box of either white or spice cake mix (I used spice cake). Just mix the two together until well blended and then pour into baking cups in a muffin/cupcake tray and bake according to cake box directions (usually 15-20 minutes at 350) or until a toothpick comes out clean. It makes about 16-18 cupcakes/muffins. 

 I also just bought the store bought cream cheese icing and iced them and added a dash of nutmeg on top. They taste great and look like they were much harder to make than that!

Wow, that does sound extremely easy and SO yummy!  I love pumpkin spice stuff.  I may have to try those soon!

Did you use a normal sized box? 

The box usually says to add eggs, oil, etc. Did you just use the plain mix without the extra stuff and the pumpkin?

 I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow and this sounds yummy!

Yes just the pumpkin and dry cake mix. Last time I added mini chocolate chips and it was yummy. Another delicious treat is dark chocolate cake mix and 15 oz can pumpkin (again batter is thick) make 12 muffins or 36 mini muffins bake 20min @ 400 or toothpick comes out clean. Super yummy and you do not taste the pumpkin much the constancy of a brownie. I freeze these to have a chocolate treat on hand.

Sorry I'm belated! But yes just the cake mix and pumpkin. They went over really well!
