TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Hey girls, Becka wanted me to ask you about NK cells.

Becka asked me to ask about NK cells here. I'll pip the picture of her results when it gets to my e-mail, but in short, The results I have:

CD2+/CD16+   9%
CD3-/CD56+   16%
CD3-/CD57+    8%
CD3+/CD56+   3%

Have any of you had the NK panel? Do you know how to interpret these results? I used Dr. Google and I can't figure out what the normal ranges should be.

ETA: Huge picture so you can read it.

  • Sorry to butt in. I don't know anything about NK cells, but there was a bumpie who posted a lot about it. Argh, I can't remember her name. Maybe I could multiple choice it. She lost her LO at a little after half baked (not to this issue though- her treatment had been working). His name was Alexander and she blogged about it. My computer had to get wiped clean so I lost the bookmark to her blog. Someone else might remember more. I don't know if reviewing old posts might shed some light on this stuff, or if she's somewhere else on tb.

    OK. Butting out.

    ETA: Her name was quezzo.

  • Butting in too.  I was in the process of preparing for my first IVF cycle and was told by the RE that I had elevated NK cells.  Turns out I got pregnant naturally before the IVF cycle, but knowing about the NK cells made me really nervous.  I didn't know whether or not this meant my pregnancy wouldn't be viable or what.  He just told me that the protocol was to treat before pregnancy and that there was no protocol during pregnancy.  When I mentioned it to my OB/GYN, she didn't even know what I was talking about.  All this to say, I have a healthy baby boy.
