DS and I will be celebrating with friends. DH will be hunting, so DS and I are on our own. We have invites to two friends house, not sure where we are going yet.
Seeing as how I currently live in one of the rings of Lower Hell at the moment, we will be heading to my parents house. You could call that Upper Hell.

We'll be at the in-laws' for lunch and my aunt's house for dinner. It's my birthday, so I could play that card and try and get out of all Thanksgiving obligations.
Mildly dreading it. I mean, I like my husband's family, so that will be fun, but there are some crazy cousins, the house ends up being a madhouse because of said crazy cousins and their kids (luckily in laws live 10 minutes from us so I get to go home at the end of the day), and my MIL insists on doing the entire dinner/dessert herself and doesn't make much variety. Since we'll be here the entire week this year, I am going to insist on bringing mashed potatoes (she doesn't have them b/c she makes dressing - RIDICULOUS) and a different dessert besides pumpkin pie (maybe pumpkin cheesecake or apple pie).

Yeah my bro's birthday is the day before Thanksgiving. In the past, that meant going out on the town to watch him dress up like an idiot with his friends (yes, you heard that right) and make a fool of himself, but don't think I'll be doing that this year. ?

We go to Atlanta every year to see my extended family. It is a lot of fun and DH's parents don't celebrate Thanksgiving (or Christmas so I never have to fight for holidays - its great!).
We always spend Thanksgiving with my parents. Luckily for us, they live about 10 minutes away, so we show up to eat, hang out and then get to leave ... all in about 4-5 hours time. Woot.
I am also dreading Thanksgiving. We'll have the noon meal with the IL's. Ugh. Thankfully, though, my mom is having dinner at 5 pm, so we'll have to leave early to help. Bwa ah ah.
At the ILs... that'll be a fun 6+ hour car ride each way. We're traveling on Tues and Fri (not Wed or Sun, which usually seem to be the worst) so hopefully that will help. It's gonna be a madhouse of random people for Thanksgiving dinner, but hopefully it'll still be fun.
we are going to my SIL and BIL house....yeah! we have had it there for the past 3 years and it has been great.....Julia started walking on Thanksgiving day at my SIL's....it brings a tear to my eye when i am there.
the best thing is that I don't have to cook.....yeah!!!
My house. FIL died unexpectedly in August, so it was important for us to have as much of DH's family together as possible, and my parents and sister, so between 12-20 people. His other sister is too far for everyone to travel, so that left me. Should be fun; they're a good group minus the one sister that can't come anyway. Yipee for that!
I believe my parents will be coming up here, my grandma and aunt will probably come over. Just like last year, which is totally fine with me -totally laid back and easy. My aunt orders the turkey from Popeye's and we get sides at Boston Market My family is so low-maintenance...
I am dreading travel to TX at christmas...again We still haven't planned THAT - we're working on findint the week that my BIL, his girlfriend and baby will be out of town so we don't have to deal with cramming into that house since they are currently living there because they can't even afford a 1-BR apartment on their own.
Maybe we can bunk up with some other family in the area...I love my IL's but ACK! My BIL is a moron and they let him mooch.
Home! I am pulling the bed rest card and making everyone come to me. I don't even have to cook! My parents prepare everything, all I have to do is clean...and DH will be in charge of that since I can't do housework! So I plan on taking a shower, eating a huge meal and hopping back in bed to sleep it off!
Re: POLL: Where are you spending Thanksgiving?
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.

Here, at my house.
I love it that way. ?I don't want to travel and we're just going to have some people over to celebrate. ?It'll be nice!?

The in-laws. Which means flying from Boston to Michigan. I HATE flying over Thanksgiving, but we do it every year.
You are a brave, brave woman.
