This apple tastes like a pear

New symptom...my taste buds are playing tricks on me! I swear this apple is a pear! I've had three people taste a cut up apple I'm having with my lunch this afternoon and they are looking at me like I'm crazy telling me it tastes just like an apple to them. Hahaha whatever it tastes fine either way to me. Just thought that was funny.

I would be very unhappy. I hate pears and that's mainly because the first time I ate one I thought I was getting an apple slice but it was a pear. Ugh! Just thinking about the graniness is gives me chills.

related FYI: there is an asian hybrid fruit called an apple-pear. They are AMAZING. I can find them sometimes at our Walmart, but they are like $2-3 each! Try one if you ever see one! They are shaped like and crunchy like an apple, but taste like and are juicy like a pear!
