I need to vent. It's almost 6am. I've gotten maybe 4-5 hours of sleep since 5am yesterday. Ian is just finishing eating and falling back asleep. My husband is being a whiny baby about the sleeping arrangements here in the hospital. We've got a recliner and a hard plasticky pullout chair. I switched him spots once. Now he is going back & forth between bitching about the crapy sleep & snoring so loud I can't sleep

I don't want to wake him, but I want to sleep too. Tomorrow night, I am sending him home. I can't do this again. Think I'm gonna try to put baby down & go for a walk. Blah.

Re: Whine inside...
Uggggh...I'm sorry!
Why am I on here so early, you ask? Because DH is claiming he can't sleep and wants me to take BOTH kids to childcare so he can rest. Wish I could sleep til noon!
I'm sorry
The hospital doesn't have any type of cot? or can they get another recliner in the room? Ok, this might be weird, and I'm not sure how your DS will be in there for, but can you get a twin blow up matteress?
When we were in the hospital when DD was born I sent DH home. Before she was born he was so insistent about staying, but I knew that he wouldn't sleep well, complain, and I would get pissed off because here I am with a huge incision on my belly, sore a** nipples, and feel like ***. Needless to say he went home after the first night and my sister stayed with me
I think you will all be happier if he goes home and just comes back really early in the am.
Hope Ian is doing well and you get some rest!
He has been rock solid from week 21 of pregnancy up until about 11pm last night, lol. He was the same way the first night after my c-section, and I sent him home after that. He will be going home for sleeping tonight. I will say that as soon as he gets up, he's fine. It's just that overnight sleeping time that gets him.
