Hubs and I decided we want a fresh tree this year after years of using an artificial one. I loved going to a tree farm to get our tree as a kid and think C would really like it. Or I hope he will! I haven't been in years and am hoping for a good tree farm in the Santa Cruz Mountains somewhere.
Can you recommend one you really like?
Re: Where to go to cut fresh tree?
We look over this site every year...

Patchen and MacKenzie in the Santa Cruz Mountains are our favorites so far.
We are doing Patchen because they are super eco-friendly for choose and cut through recycling trees as mulch (a natural pesticide) and directing people how to cut so that the stump will re-grow, and even offering completely bio-degradable options for all things that go with the tree.
This is where my parents would take us as kids and now we are taking EJ! Gotta love that!

EJ is growing up too fast!
