I thought about bringing my Boppy pillow to the hospital, but now I'm wondering how comfortable it is to use immediately after a c-section and if I should even bother bringing it. Any c-section mamas have any input?
I'm curious too. It's in my vehicle right now along with the hospital bag as I was originally going to bring it but now that my chances of a c-section have skyrocketed I'm not sure if it will be worth it.
I used mine in the hospital. It was four years ago so I don't remember exactly how soon I used it - I think I might have started out with pillows (easier to do the football hold that way) in the first day or so after my c/s - but there are pictures of me using it in the hospital, so I definitely used it before I was discharged. I don't remember it bothering my incision at all.

I had a c-section and couldn't have fed Wyatt without the boppy. It made me feel protected when I was feeding and holding him. Plus it helped DH because he's still scared he's going to break him.

At my birthing class they suggested we bring it in case we have a c-section. I guess it's more comfortable than regular pillows with the incision. Plus then you get the practice for when you go home.
At my childbirth class I was told to bring the boopy and confy pillows, as the hospital ones suck. My only concern is getting them contaminated at the hospital.
Re: s/o Boppy...using it post c-section?
My Breast Friend pillow was a GOD SEND after my c/s with DS.
