And I mean a word with intention, like he looked at the dog and said "dog" or picked up a ball and said "ball." I know other people count babbling dadadadada or something as a word, but I do not.
No words here yet either. He babbles "dada" "baba" and "mama" but nothing with intent. That is how we "count" it also, he has to look at something/someone and say the word, not just babbling while playing.
She really hasn't. We thought she had purposefully said both a dada and mama about a month ago, but hasn't done it again. She babbles both all the time. I am trying not to worry. I know she knows plenty of words.

No idea. Does she do it consistently?
B looked at H and said "dada" around 6 months for a few days in a row, then never did it again. So we don't count that.
