S/O double stroller- WWYD?

We don't have a double stroller right now, Rosie just walks when we go anywhere, and we haven't done any long walks.  We probably won't need a double over the winter either, if we go somewhere like the mall or a museum, Rosie will walk.  Would you buy a double?  I don't think we'd use one very often, but if we go somewhere like the zoo it would be nice to have.  

 I've thought about a sit n stand, but my parents live in NYC, and I'm a little worried that we wouldn't be able to strap Rosie into it.  I wouldn't want her running away in traffic.  They're also not the most comfortable strollers for the older kid, so maybe a double umbrella stroller would be better?  I'm so confused about what to do!

I really wanted one after we had Dylan but my dh thought it was going to be a waste.  He ended up being right.  Justin never sits in a stroller so it really would have been a waste to have.  I would say that since Rosie is a little older you probably don't need one, especially if she doesn't use one now.

i would think if she's walking now you'll probably be fine by the time spring/summer comes around.

If you go to NYC could you just bring two umbrella strollers?

You can strap into a sit and stand, but you're right about it not being comfy.

I would say at R age, you probably don't need one.  Evan never really liked our BOB, but he loves to ride in the double, but he is just over 2.  It has been a lifesaver for me when I need to take them both places, but I would say we will probably only use it until E is 3 or so?  You could maybe borrow someones if you had something special going on that you thought that you might use it?
