Two Under 2

Last few days of 2U2, but soon to follow 3u3!

DD arrived when DS was just over 13 months and while its been a challenge, it hasn't been impossible. Even going out is not that hard and I thought I would never leave the house once DD was born! Now we are out pretty much every day!

#3 is a complete surprise, and once again worried about the logistics of getting out of the house by myself, but I'll figure it out! Should be exciting with 3u3, if having 2u2 was any indication!

  • Congrats! Sounds like you are doing a great job at handling things, number three should fall into place as well!

lol take it an hour at a time, sometimes minute by minute! It's not easy, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Newborns sleep a lot (during the day, not so much at night) and luckily DS took 2 naps a day until about 6 months ago. Now he takes one nap, but it's usually 2, sometimes 3 hours! So I slept when DS and DD were sleeping.

Freezer meals helped a lot, I made stuff for lunches and froze muffins for breakfast which was really helpful. DH was home in the evening and could make dinner if needed, but it was all me during the day, so quick, easy things I could eat with 1 hand was a blessing.

You will do just fine, there will be 'those' days but the better days outweighs everything! If you have any specific questions, let me know, I'd be happy to help in any way!
